Proquimac was founded in 1974 with the objective of offering a wide range of dyes and pigments on the market. The experience accumulated over the years has made the initial objectives were met and grew to unbelievable extremes offering products such as Pearlescent Pigments , Pigment , Dioxide , Dioxide, Caramel Colour , Oxide , Monohidrate Ferrous Sulphate , Detergency Dyes and Colors among many others.
The innovative spirit and search for new products along with the quality of these were the main reasons why Proquimac positioned itself as one of the industry benchmark. Following this position, the company grew and moved to new facilities with cutting-edge technology and higher capacity where new products were developed such as Colors.
From January 2004, PROQUIMAC COLOR, S.L. belongs to the Group GALI I LLOVERAS GRUP, S.L. At the same time and due to the growth of each of our business units and in order to improve our service and a better specialisation in each product line, PROQUIMAC COLOR, S.L. has been separated in three independent companies following each business unit:
PROQUIMAC COLOR, S.L., trades pigments, dyes and additives for mainly the plastic and the paint industry.
PROQUIMAC FOOD & PHARMA, S.A., manufactures lakes and trades pigments and dyes for the food, cosmetics and pharmacy industries.
PROQUIMAC DISPERSIONS, S.L., manufactures pigment dispersions for the paint industry and also for fertilisers and all kind of applications that is needed a dispersed pigment in paste form.
